We are currently building a talent pool to meet ongoing staffing needs across the region and are seeking Dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with a background in Additional Learning Needs for a reputable school in Treorchy, Rhondda Cynon Taf. This temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialised educational setting, supporting primary-aged children with additional needs. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators, providing one-to-one and small group support to facilitate effective learning and behavioural development. The ideal candidate will possess: - Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, preferably within a special school environment - Strong understanding of Additional Learning Needs and behaviour management strategies - Excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to adapt to individual student needs and activities This role offers ongoing employment with a daily rate of £92.56. SET Recruitment will cover the cost of the first DBS for any candidate not already on the update service.
