We are building a talent pool to fulfill ongoing staffing requirements across the region and are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Contract Cover Supervisors for a valued client within the education sector. This role is based in the Pontypridd region, RCT, and involves providing effective classroom cover to ensure the smooth running of daily lessons in accordance with school policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing classroom activities, maintaining behaviour standards, and delivering planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff. The role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with students to foster a positive learning environment.
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within an educational setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexibility and reliability to cover various subjects and year groups
- Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions provided by teaching staff
- Enhanced DBS clearance (SET Recruitment will cover the cost of the first DBS for any candidate not already on the update service)
- Good organisational skills and professionalism
