This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in schools or continue their career as a Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or SEN Teaching Assistant.

Whether you have experience working in schools or have supported children through youth work, coaching, childcare, tutoring, or care roles, we would love to hear from you.

The Role: Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils in the classroom to help create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils during lessons and classroom activities

• Assisting teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation

• Providing one-to-one or small group support

• Encouraging pupil engagement and confidence in learning

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunities

We also work closely with a number of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools that regularly require additional classroom support staff.

These roles provide a rewarding opportunity to support children with:

• Additional learning needs

• Behavioural needs

• Autism and other developmental needs

Many of these positions offer the potential to become long-term or permanent roles for the right candidates.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people (school or non-school settings)

• A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for helping children learn and develop

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker, Teaching Support Worker, or Sports Coach is beneficial but not essential.
