Role Responsibilities
As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small group support to Welsh-speaking pupils, ensuring full engagement with the curriculum

Assisting teachers in planning and implementing tailored learning activities

Fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor student progress and implement effective strategies

Upholding school policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment

Requirements
The ideal Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

Fluency in Welsh and English, with strong communication skills in both languages

Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or educational setting

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning and development

Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of pupils and schools
Relevant teaching or SEN qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Working Hours

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, following school operating hours
